Although you never go on their website to register for this crap, one year later they charge you 50 quid to renew your yearly subscription that you didn't subscribe for, without sending you any emails reminding you that you're gonna be charged. Bought a camera in 2022 and it came with a "free" gift of a one year subscription to their crappy app to edit some pictures. Very sad because I was a new customer to the Gopro ecosystem and now they have lost me.ġ star becasue you have too !!! Never had such a bad experiance, bought a gopro 11 in November becasue I was going on a trip of a lifetime and decided to treat ourselves, I was going in 2 days so purchased it and piad extra money for quick service, as I was later in the day it was not to be delivered next day but the day after, which was just right, I have my deliveries sent to work and on the day of delivery an messege popped up on my phone to say it had been delivered, so I went downstairs to our weighbridge office, which is unmanned ! there it was left on the side, I took it upstairs and opened it, to my horrer it was 6 bars of soap, I imediatly contacted Paypa who I had paind through and they basically said put in a claim, I did and they said no evidence, so I've closed my paypal account since, so I then contacted Gopro who spend 3 months giving me the run around saying they would be back in touch 24hrs later every time, and never did, finally I said this has got to be sorted out, 2 days laters an email saying lack of evidence, nearly 4 months after I started !!! I said I have witnesses in my office who would testify in court, the parcel was left unsigned for, they don't care, now I am £400 out of pocket and no camera, I have contacted UPS who seem to be investigating which leads me to think gopro never even bothered, just ran me around for 4 months and then said no !!! Lokk at the reviews on then, PLEASE DO NIT BUY A GOPRO !!!!! SCAMMERS This is the worst customer experience I have ever gone through in my life and it is shocking to see many other reviews from other people share the same sentiment. Once they take your money you can forget about getting any support it is non existent, there is no email or contact number on their site. I am leaving in a week so I have basically lost all my money with Gopro (over $750). I dont speak Turkish, and the Turskish authorities contacted me sending me documents that I need a power of attorney for my package and that I have to pay to notarize the documents, none of this is what I should be expected to do as a customer who doesnt speak Turkish. I recently bought a Gopro while traveling in Turkey from the Gopro site, not only did they not include the extra and exorbitant taxes that I ended up paying and that they deducted on my card, but they failed to mention the process of receiving my Gopro in Turkey.
